TUESDAY’S TIP + DINNER LATELY

SNACKFORDINNER2
I’ve been picking up baguettes, cheese, and smoked salmon lately from the little market near our house. It’s an easy dinner that doesn’t leave us overly full and unmotivated. We get to snack, have a drink and a chat, and enjoy the weather warming up. I find that baguettes usually go stale rather quickly so I’ve started wrapping them in cotton towels in an effort to extend their life. I did a little searching online, and it seems I’m not the only one using this method. I have to say it seems to be working, and we’ve enjoyed our baguettes for a good 3-4 days recently.
Tip: Leave the fresh bread in the bag from the market, wrap tightly in the towel, and store on the counter.
