NICK CAVE’S SOUNDSUITS

While in Austin a few months back we had the pleasure of seeing Nick Cave’s Soundsuit exhibit. It was an AMAZING exploration of movement, sound and color, and I’m pretty obsessed with it. nickcave_soundsuits

There were several intricate suits on display made from buttons, sticks, and other found materials making the do not touch rule especially hard. The video with the UCLA dancers performing in the suits was screened in a dark room putting emphasis on the colors and sound. I seriously want to watch it over and over again.

The exhibit at AMoA runs until February 23rd for those of you in Austin!
