LISTEN UP * MIXTAPE NO. 2 BIRTHDAY JAMS

I find my 30’s to be amazing and confusing all at the same time. I haven’t changed much with the exception of having to ask myself, how short is too short? These days I’d probably pick a dinner at home with friends over the MJQ dance floor. Actually that depends on the friends. We could very well find ourselves on that dance floor after a few drinks at the house.

This playlist is an homage to the days when friends seemed endless and there was a reason to go out every night of the week. Sleep was overrated for fear of missing out on something amazing, and truth be told, we would have. Stories from those days are surely the ones I’ll be telling and retelling as I get older. Will it be strange when I put on a Peaches record later in life… probably so, but I hope I’m the kind of old broad that does it anyway.
