While roaming the aisles of the Gift Fair I discovered Montes Doggett, a line consisting of beautiful ceramic and wood serving pieces, designed by Monica Porter. I’ve been on the look out for a large wooden bowl for sometime now and THREE finally found their way to me. The bowls are hand-made in Peru and have just the right amount of beautiful imperfections. The wood is unfinished and with each dish they will get a little more oiled and the colors will begin to change.

These elegant ceramic pieces have the same organic feel and are dishwasher, microwave and oven-safe. Each piece is designed by Monica and then handcrafted by the artisans without using molds or assembly line machinery making each piece unique.
