NYC Part 2: Eat and Drink

The stand out meal of this trip would have to be Momofuku Noodle Bar.
Little bit of a wait, but well worth it.
We didn’t get the fried chicken, but the table next to us did and that is on my list next trip.
“two whole fried chickens, one southern style and one korean style – mu shu pancakes, long spicy peppers, baby carrots, red ball radishes, shiso leaves, bibb lettuce, four sauces and an assortment of herbs”

We did get shitake steamed buns, momofuku ramen (pork belly, pork shoulder, poached egg), and Angel Food Cake soft serve for desert.
Also to start a jar of kimchee and 2 soy sauce boiled eggs.
To drink momofuku soju slushie – watermelon lemonade.

Took a trip to S’MAC in the East Village. It’s all Macaroni and Cheese and heavenly.
We had the Mediterranean with Goat cheese, sauteed spinach, kalamata olives, and roasted garlic and the Buffalo Chicken with Cheddar & American cheeses, boneless chicken pieces, buffalo wing sauce and crumbled blue cheese.

Chili Cheese Tots from Trailer Park.
I like to hit Trailer Park up for happy hour. $5 Margaritas, not so healthy food, and a great atmosphere. Located right across from the Chelsea Hotel.

Paladar Restaurant in the Lower East Side. Delicious Latin food from Chef Aaron Sanchez.
I had the Pollo a La Parrilla – Lime & chipotle marinated chicken served with red chimichurri, fingerling potato and pablano chile salad.

With Sangria of course

Dean and Deluca is always fun for a quick snack and to just poke around.

Last, but not least San Loco

Gringo Nachos, amazing Catfish Tacos and Sangria all on the cheap.
